"I've taken a lot of courses and normally you can tell that they are telling you enough to succeed but they are keeping some things to themselves, but Elizabeth doesn't do that at all!" -Ida Winstead

Want to see the highlights? Below are some of the questions I asked Ida in our interview and in her post-course survey along with her answers!

How would you describe the course format to someone who hasn’t taken the course?

Ida describes the format of the Booked Out Designer course as a comprehensive guide to running your design business. This course is great for someone who is new to their business but also perfect for someone who is farther along. Ida has been running her business for about 2 years and found an incredible amount of value in this course.

The format of this course for designers is primarily video lessons that are self-paced. Ida says she has been jumping around in the course and watching videos that she needs now and then implementing them immediately. This is a great way to consume the course content!

The course has a mix of educational videos that are teaching content but also behind the scenes videos of me showing my actual process so students can see a real example in action.

What are some of the modules you have loved the most?

Ida tells me that she loved the Client Experience module that walks you through the entire process of onboarding a new client through launching their project into the world! Since she is farther along in her business, she has enjoyed watching my process to see how another designer does it and takes the pieces that work for her and her clients.

Ida says she has especially paid attention to the little details of the client experience that make it worth the higher price tag and make it feel like an elevated experience.

Another module that Ida said she really enjoyed in this course for designers was the Pricing For Profit module. She specifically said she loved the videos that teach through money mindset principles. Ida took away the idea that this is not just about becoming a great website designer but about becoming a great business owner too and having a marketing mindset so that you aren’t just showing up but you are showing up intentionally along the way.

"We aren't just saying let's become a great website designer but understanding it's about becoming a great business owner too." -Ida Winstead

What was your favorite part of the course and experience?

“The Facebook community and coaching calls for sure! I didn't realize how much I was craving community after 2020. While I love working from home by myself, it can get isolating sometimes, and being able to get a group of incredible friends to share wins and struggles with has been invaluable.

I've also loved the coaching calls and the way they're set up. Not only learning from Elizabeth directly but also the feedback from others in the group. Elizabeth is also incredibly supportive throughout the entire course and more than willing to share whatever is needed for us to succeed.”

Ida’s General Review of Booked Out Designer

Booked Out Designer helped me gain confidence and take action on things I've been neglecting for too long in my business. I finally started a retirement account, started a podcast, and improved the way I serve my clients, which allows me to charge more and be more confident in how I show up!”

Ida’s message to you if you are thinking about joining Booked Out Designer

“I would say just do it! I signed up before the course was even live so I know it's worth it. But I know it can be scary to invest in your business. I would invest in this course one hundred times over. The Facebook group alone is worth the course but then you get all this incredible stuff from Elizabeth and you get to see how she runs the business on the back end too which is so cool. This is not just, ’Here's what you should do’ but actually watching it which is such a big difference.

Booked Out Designer will be opening again for new students to join the community! The doors open on July 12th and once our launch week is over, we won’t have another enrollment period for the course for designers until 2022. When you buy Booked Out Designer, you get the amazing COURSE (over 90 lessons of content), you get an incredible private Facebook
