Ah, I’m so excited to share this website and interview with you guys! Presenting... Stay Blissful Vacation Homes! This gorgeous website was built using the Olivia template from my template shop. Now, let me tell you about this business...
Brittany is a client turned dear friend, and I've been honored to get to work with her in multiple ways. She’s an interior designer and home stager based in Scottsdale, Arizona over at Blissful Design Studio. Brittany has staged over 400 homes and designed over 250 homes! LIKE WHAT!?! So crazy, and all the homes she works on are incredibly beautiful. She is the owner of Stay Blissful Vacation Homes. Brittany also co-hosts a design and organization podcast called Brittany & Katy Have a Podcast, with Katy Krupnik (who is also a past client of mine!). Brittany’s work has been featured in many media outlets, and she was even featured by HGTV.
We worked together over a year ago to do her branding and website design for her interior design business, and Brittany purchased the Olivia template for her vacation homes business. She customized the Olivia template beautifully to match what she needed in order to showcase the beautiful vacation homes. We also did a Polish Session together where I went in and added a “designer’s touch” to the website and integrated it more with the design of her Blissful Design Studio website that I built.
Brittany’s use of the Olivia template really shows how diverse these templates are!
The Olivia template was “made” for photographers, but hey… it can look gorgeous for ANY business, and I love that!
Here’s what Brittany had to say about why she chose the Olivia James template for her business:
“The Olivia caught my eye right away! I chose it because I love how it showcased the photography on the site. My site needs to grab people's attention with the beautiful homes that I want people to want to stay in. It felt modern and clean and yet still creative and artistic.”
True! Olivia is an awesome template choice for anyone needing to show a lot of big photos in a creative and engaging way.
Now, let’s dive into some of the questions I’ve asked Brittany:
What’s your favorite part of your website?
“My favorite part of my new website is how gorgeous it is!! It showcases the photos of the homes, it's fun and it is so easy to navigate. I also love the shop page because it was a section that I was so excited about and it really came together and is a unique feature to my site that gives guests the opportunity to bring the feeling of being on vacation home with them.”
Side note you guys… Brittany’s shop page is SO FUN! I’ve already used it to find awesome home pieces as I’ve been designing the interior of our new house!
Do you think this updated look will impact your business?
“I feel this new look will provide us with more guests and bookings because the site not only showcases our vacation homes, but it conveys our vision for these homes perfectly. We wanted to create a brand and I really think we accomplished that using Elizabeth's template to build our new website.”
What resources or tools were most helpful to you as you customized your website template?
“The polish session was so incredible for my site! I did okay making changes and updates to my site based on Elizabeth's trainings, but she made it look so beautiful and way more functional with her changes. She took it to a whole new level and I feel like I ended up with a custom site without the custom site price tag.”
Check out Polish Session details here! I highly recommend this as an add-on to anyone who buys a template!
“If you are thinking about purchasing a template from Elizabeth, I would highly recommend it! Not only are her templates beautiful and fully customizable to you and your business, but they convert! She gives you all of the tools and support that you need and she really cares about your business and how her templates can help transform it.”
Thank you, Brittany for all the love and support! And you guys seriously need to go check out Brittany’s website! It’s fun, inspiring, and makes me totally ready to vacation in one of her beautiful homes.
