How did you hear about EM Shop?
Initially, I came across the Samantha template on Showit's website, but jumped onto your website and took the personality quiz which said the Liane template was the perfect match and I ended up liking this Showit template for brand designers best.
What is your favorite part of your new website?
I love that the website has a personality. It feels like me in website form and allows me to showcase that to potential clients. I really loved the clean layout and the functionality of the website. It meant that I could just get right into customizing the template and being able to relax in the knowledge that everything would work. That took a lot of the stress out of the process. I particularly thought the about me page was really fun with the timeline and the fun facts which really allowed me to get creative and infuse the website with my personality as I think this is important in connecting with prospective clients. Finally, I love that it doesn't just look pretty, but at every turn, it is geared towards generating leads and calls to action to drive results for my business. So much to love about it!
How has your business changed since launching your new website?
I am in the early stages of launching my business and spent a bit of time researching various platforms and templates. Seeing as I don't have a huge amount of capital, I felt I really had to make the right choice as my budget wouldn't allow for a second chance.
I'm 100% confident that I made the right choice with this as I see my website as being a brand ambassador that has the potential to either win or cost me business. Within my first week of launching, I've already received my first lead and have a meeting booked with a potential client. Despite my business being in the early stages, the client commented on how professional she thought I was and that from the outside looking in, it seemed as though I had been doing this for some time. This was really encouraging to hear and I'm sure the website had a part to play in providing this polished perception of my business.
Leith’s general review of EM Shop
From start to finish I've been impressed with my experience in using EM Shop and this Showit template for brand designers. Not only are all the templates beautiful and functional, but the after-sales support has also been fantastic! The client portal and little extras provided such as the infographic were great. The extensive videos really helped me to be able to make the site the best it could be. And when I did get stuck, despite being in a completely different time zone, I received prompt and helpful advice.
I have also jumped onto the podcast and am getting a lot of value from that being a solo operator and tackling the sense of overwhelming at having so many decisions to make and a to-do list as long as my arm! You could say I'm a raving fan! So glad I came across Elizabeth and EM Shop at the start of my entrepreneurial journey. She is an amazing designer but feels like a business coach with all of the helpful tips. Very grateful!
