During this project, when I would tell friends that I was designing a website for a rose farm, everyone would reply “That sounds SO dreamy!” And, it was! Restoration Rose is a flower farm in my city, Nashville, Tennessee! Owned by Susan Lyell, Restoration Rose grows organic, luxurious flowers for Middle Tennessee florists.  And you guys, her flowers really are FABULOUS! They are totally unique, organically-grown, hand-picked, and pesticide-free. One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to empower talented women like Susan to create a more successful business by leveling up their designs!

For Susan’s website, we went for the dreamy rose garden vibe. We focused on all the amazing things that set her apart from the competition and highlighted what she has to offer. Unlike her old website, this new look showcases her talent in a way that is clear to her ideal client.

My favorite part of the website is the home page. I love the moving photographs of Susan’s flowers used in real weddings and the descriptions of her flowers: “organic, fragrant, unique, uncommon, sometimes downright unusual, always beautiful.”

Here's what Susan had to say about the project:

"Elizabeth and her designs far exceeded anything I imagined. She listened, guided me and was patient throughout the process. I highly recommend her! She breaks the process down into a series of tasks that are easy to complete. She is highly organized and efficient and her approach to web design demystifies the process.

My favorite part of the website is the gallery.  Last season, florists told me they needed to see all that I grow. And I needed a way to efficiently get all this beauty into their hands. This is a game changer for local flowers and florists.

I was surprised by how streamlined Elizabeth's method was. She made the process simple, kept me on task and understood the demands on a small business owner.

The website is gorgeous, the process was painless and you listened to my ideas."
