How did you found EM Shop?
"I think I found you via the Showit Website Designers page, and again on Instagram! I immediately was hooked on your podcast after binging it and LOVED how much strategy went into your designs."
What template you decided on and how you picked it?
"I knew I wanted to rebrand this year and initially thought I would do a custom design but instead decided a Showit website template for photographers was the right step for me. I bought the newly released Jena template! It felt SO similar to what I wanted my brand to be, and I loved how it had a very high-end custom feel without it actually being custom. I also loved all the layouts/pages that came with it and how they were already designed how I loved them!"
What results did you see the day you launched your new brand and site?
"When I launched my new brand, I made over $3,000 in 2 days during a sale on my shop - primarily to an audience I had already launched those products to just a couple of months prior, which is pretty cool! I was happy with that considering the main focus of the launch was on my new brand, and not necessarily the sale."
What results have you seen since you launched your new site?
"Since my launch, I’ve had DOZENS upon dozens of compliments on my website! The biggest thing people tell me that my personality 100% shines through, which is exactly what I wanted! I’ve also noticed a more steady stream of income in my shop since launching my new brand with my Showit website template for photographers, without live launching new products (and I’m gearing up for a big launch in November!). I truly believe my new brand has established me more as a credible educator because the look is more high end than my last brand!"
How did you bring your site live so quickly? Any tips?
"It was a little crazy!!! It helped that I was already very experienced with Showit (the website platform) and knew a lot of the ins and outs. One thing that helped too is I already had most of the copy written before I plugged it into my template. That gave me a good idea of how to structure the pages, so writing your copy first can be really helpful!
Another tip: Have dedicated time to sit down and work on your website (aka batch working). Once I got in the mode of working on my website pages, it was a lot easier to knock out several at a time!"

To someone listening who has thought about a template, but is holding back. What would you say to them?
"DO IT!!! If you’re scared you won’t know how to customize it for your brand, that should be the least of your worries. My brand looks so different from the original template, and yet has a very high-end feel.
