I had the pleasure of working with Brooke Kalan to revamp her brand and website this summer! Brooke is a life and business coach based in Virginia. We actually met virtually because she's a friend of 2 of my past clients - Lulu Minns and Louise George.
Brooke's original website was a DIY-ed Square Space site that simply wasn't working for her business anymore or keeping up with all the growth she's experiencing. And, before now, she had no official "branding" in place. We took Brooke's fun, "tell it like it is" personality and turned it into a really fun brand! On Brooke's new website, you truly get a taste for what it's like to work with her and who she is as a life coach.

QUESTION: What is your favorite part of your new website and brand?
BROOKE: "I love the flow and movement that the website has now. My old website had felt flat and stagnant, but Elizabeth created ways to give life and a sense of whimsy and magic to my site by using different fonts, color palette and videos. I wanted viewers to feel like they would feel at the beach or strolling through a beautiful city when they landed on the site, and she captured those feelings beautifully. My favorite part of the brand is the handwritten touch! I love the fonts she chose and the juxtaposition of script and text."
QUESTION: How do you think this updated look will impact your business?
BROOKE: "It will definitely align better to my high ticket coaching packages and clients who want to scale their income, life and business. I have recently upleveled my brand and my life, scaling my own business to multi 6 figures. I wanted a site that let potential clients trust that I could take them to their next level, so visually it was important for ability to be reflected in the branding."
QUESTION: Did we successfully accomplish your design goals?
BROOKE: "Yes! Elizabeth was especially helpful and available to walk me through things or handle tech pieces. As a coach, I don’t know much about executing an idea or vision technologically, so it was a huge relief to work with her because she’s such an expert at taking my ideas and bringing them to life visually. So far the feedback from viewers is exactly what I was hoping for! Someone said, 'This site feels soooo much like you! Full of whimsy and magic and authenticity.'
I was so happy to see this feedback because everything I wanted to express came through on my website!"
QUESTION: What advice do you have for fellow business owners reading this?
BROOKE: "Be crystal clear on who you are, how you serve and what impact you want to make in the world. Let your clarity drive you. Let your vision come to life, and make sure that you’re hiring people, like Elizabeth, to help you bring your brand and mission to life. Building a conscious business is very much like creating a work of art- the idea and concept comes from your heart...your team are like the paint brushes that allow you to translate it onto canvass."

As someone who isn’t good at tech things, I can say that Elizabeth will handle all the pieces that aren’t in your zone of genius, so that you can stay in yours and watch your vision and brand come to life.
