This week, I have an exciting new brand and website to show you! The Tidy Cottage is a home organization and productivity company based in Arizona. This amazing business is owned by the amazing Katy Krupnik, who runs the business with her team of three. Katy is the sister-in-law of Brittney Krupnik from Blissful Design Studio, who I did the branding and website design for earlier this year. It’s so fun working with two family members, and seeing how although they both have similar goals, their websites are so uniquely them.

For Katy’s logo, she has a ton of different options to work with from horizontal to stacked and a circle. All of the logos are very minimal though with a timeless, “tidy” and homey vibe. We want the brand to feel very CLEAN, but also warm and welcoming (like a cottage!). My using a gorgeous bold serif and a very tidy script type, we were about to accomplish this. On the website, you’ll find more clean lines (like in the logo), a cozy, muted color palette, and a ton of fun photos to inspire you to get more organized! Our goal was to show viewers that they CAN take their life from overwhelmed to overJOYED, and that having an organized space they can be proud of doesn’t have to be so hard. Now, let's hear what Katy had to say about the project!

Question: What’s your favorite part of your new brand and website?

Katy: "Probably the about us page, it showcases my team and our values so incredibly well. Before This was was your classic generic about how the business started and now it feels as if you are are getting to know what we as a team, individual and company are all about."

Question: How do you think this updated brand and website will impact your business?

Katy: "I had a hard time finding a way to share my passion and care online. Elizabeth was great for finding those passion points and giving them an online voice. I definitely feel that this website will attract the customers my team and I are looking for and help anyone who comes across our site to know what we are about and how exactly we will help them. It represents my company so well!"

Question: Did we successfully accomplish your design goals?

Katy: "YES! It is better than I could have dreamed! I mean I got a sneak peek at Elizabeth’s fabulous work with my sister-in-law’s website Blissful Design Studio but I knew Elizabeth was building my business story which was different."

Question: How do you feel about making the transition to Showit?

Katy: "Love Showit! I am excited to feel more in control of the website and my blog as well. Everything seems more logical and the platform seems easier to use."
