The Best Diaper Bag for Working Moms and Moms of Multiple Kids (My Honest Review)

I’ve been a mom for almost five years and have tried a lot of diaper bags. The Parker Baby Co. Willow Tote is the best one I’ve ever owned. Here’s why it’s a game changer for working moms and moms of multiple kids.

[DISCLOSURE: Parker Baby Co. gifted me the Willow Tote in exchange for this blog post. All opinions, stories, and love for this bag are completely my own.]

I have three kids, ages 4, 2, and 8 months. Some mornings we're at the playground by 7 am and hitting our favorite breakfast spot by 9. Other days I'm working remotely from a coffee shop, laptop open and AirPods in, trying to finish a project during nap time. And every once in a while, I'm traveling for work, pump parts and all, trying to look like a put-together business person while also being a mom of three little kids.

The common thread through all of those days? I needed one bag that could do it all.

I've been a mom for almost five years now, and I have tried a lot of diaper bags over the years. A lot. And I'm here to tell you that the Parker Baby Co. Willow Tote is the nicest, most functional diaper bag I have ever owned.

If you're a working mom, a business-owning mom, a mom of multiples, or just a mom who is tired of your diaper bag ruining your outfit, keep reading. This one is for you.

What Is the Parker Baby Co. Willow Tote?

The Willow Tote is a vegan leather diaper tote from Parker Baby Co., a small, family-owned company based in Colorado. Founders Sam and Kirsten Huebner started the company back in 2015 out of their family room floor, designing baby products to make their own lives as parents a little easier. That origin story comes through in the product. This bag was clearly designed by people who actually know what it's like to leave the house with multiple kids.

The bag comes in two colors (Chestnut and Black, both with beautiful hardware) and retails for $135. It measures 18" x 12" x 6", which sounds big because it is big (which I love!!), and it includes a removable insert with four additional compartments, two stroller hooks, and a wipeable changing pad.

Why This Is the Best Diaper Bag for Working Moms

Let me get the obvious thing out of the way first: this bag looks like a really nice, stylish purse. Like, I get compliments on it regularly, and nobody thinks I'm hauling diapers and snack containers around. That might sound like a small thing, but if you've ever shown up to a meeting or an event carrying a bag covered in little whale prints, you know it's not a small thing. I also LIKE fashion and even on my mom days (which is most days), I like to feel “put together” in my athleisure wear.

For working moms and business-owning moms specifically, the Willow Tote does something that most diaper bags don't: it actually fits your whole life. I'm talking laptop, pump parts, chargers, your usual purse items, a change of clothes for the baby, snacks for your toddler, AND a nursing cover, all in one place without any digging.

Raise your hand if you've ever stood at the bottom of a backpack-style diaper bag trying to find the wipes while your toddler is melting down. With a tote style like this, everything is accessible. You can see what you have, reach what you need, and move on with your life. The side pockets, the interior compartments, the removable insert with its own pockets for bottles and wipes, it's all designed so that you are not spending five minutes excavating your bag in a parking lot.

And for the moms who are traveling for work or speaking at events? This bag can hold your pump parts, pump washing supplies, your laptop, your chargers, your notebook, your wallet, your keys, and everything else you need for a full day, while looking like something you'd buy at a boutique, not a baby store.

The Best Diaper Bag for Moms of Multiple Kids

Here's the thing about having multiple kids: the math on what you're packing gets intense fast. I have a 4-year-old, a 2-year-old, and an 8-month-old. I need diapers in two different sizes. I need snacks that three different kids will actually eat. I need a change of clothes for the littles, a nursing cover, extra pacis for the baby AND the toddler, teething toys, wipes... you get the idea.

The Willow Tote fits all of it. I'm not exaggerating. I don't need an extra bag or a separate organizer. Everything has a place, and everything fits.

For moms who are expecting baby number two or three and wondering if they need a new diaper bag, the answer is probably yes, and this is the one to get. One bag that works for everyone, from a nursing baby to a preschooler who needs a water bottle and a granola bar the second you pull out of the driveway. That's the dream, and this bag delivers it.

The Stroller Hook Feature Is a Game Changer

I want to talk about the stroller hooks for a second because this feature alone has made my life so much easier! I have never seen this feature on a diaper bag.

The Willow Tote comes with two easy-clip stroller hooks, which means I can clip the bag directly onto my stroller and go completely hands-free. For anyone navigating a parking lot, a playground, your church, or a busy coffee shop with multiple kids in tow, going hands-free is not a luxury. It is a survival strategy.

On top of that, when the bag is ON the stroller, the bottom basket of the stroller stays totally clear for other things, like a second bag, groceries on the way home, or jackets that inevitably get taken off the moment you get somewhere. They really thought of everything with this design.

Exactly What I Keep in My Willow Tote (Mom of 3 Edition)

I know some people find diaper bag packing lists really helpful, so here's a peek at what I keep stocked for a big morning out with my three kids (ages 4, 2, and 8 months):

For me: chapstick, credit card, car keys, mints, a granola bar in case I need a snack too

Snacks for my older two: bars, bagged veggie straws, bagged Cheerios, and as a treat, little Horizon milk cartons (my boys think these are the best thing on earth)

Baby essentials: diapers for my toddler AND my baby, wipes, the changing pad that comes with the tote, a burp cloth, nursing cover, and teething toys for my baby

Extra pacis for both my baby and toddler

Just-in-case items: a change of clothes for my baby and toddler, bandaids, a cleansing wipe for boo boos, and mini water bottles in case we need them to clean off a scrape or forgot to grab water at home

All of that fits (and more). Comfortably. In one bag that looks like a chic purse.

(I keep additional things in my car trunk organizer for longer outings, but for a solid morning out, this is my full kit.)

The Price Surprised Me (In the Best Way)

I expected this bag to be more expensive than it is. At $135, it is honestly competitive with diaper bags that do a fraction of what the Willow Tote does and that look a lot less stylish. When you factor in that it can carry everything you need as a mom of multiple kids AND double as a professional bag for work trips, the price-per-use becomes really easy to justify.

The vegan leather is also completely wipeable, inside and out, which means when your baby gets something on it (and your baby will get something on it), you're not freaking out. You're just wiping it down and moving on.

A Note About Parker Baby Co.

I love being able to support small, family-owned businesses, and Parker Baby Co. is exactly that. Sam and Kirsten Huebner started this company in 2015 as a side hustle so Kirsten could run a business from home while caring for their kids (sound familiar?). They designed products based on their own real parenting challenges, starting with bows for their daughter who had no hair, bandana bibs for their daughter who was a constant spitter, and a diaper caddy when they found themselves with three kids in diapers at once. Their mission is to nurture and grow strong families, and that heart is evident in the quality and thoughtfulness of their products.

Add the Willow Tote to Your Baby Registry

If you're currently pregnant and building your registry, the Willow Tote is absolutely worth putting on there. It's the kind of bag that makes sense whether this is your first baby or your third, because it grows with your family. One big, beautiful, stylish bag that works for a newborn and a toddler at the same time? That's a registry must-have, not a maybe.

Add it to your Babylist registry right from the product page with the click of a button.

Other Parker Baby Co. Products I Genuinely Love

While you're over on their site, a few other products I use and love and would recommend without hesitation:

The Diaper Caddy -- We have one on every level of our house. Genuinely one of the most useful baby products I have ever bought. Shop it here.

The Hooded Bath Towel -- So soft and so cute. Makes bath time feel like a little event for your kids. Shop it here.

Fitted Crib Sheets -- Great quality and they actually stay on the mattress. If you've ever fought a fitted sheet at 3am, you know why this matters. Shop them here.

All of these would make great additions to a baby registry as well!

The Bottom Line

If you're a working mom, a business-owning mom, a mom of multiples, or honestly just a mom who wants a diaper bag that doesn't make her feel like she had to sacrifice style the moment she had kids, the Parker Baby Co. Willow Tote is the answer.

It's the nicest diaper bag I've ever owned. It holds everything. It looks amazing. It hooks onto my stroller. It wipes clean. It makes me feel put together even on the chaotic mornings.

I have the Chestnut color and I love it, but it also comes in Black with matte hardware if that fits your style better.
