Target audiences, customer profiles, ideal clients… OH MY! When I first started my business, my target audience was anyone and everyone who wanted my services. But, by speaking to everyone, I was really speaking to no one.
By defining who you want to work with and targeting them specifically, you can begin to attract them in every way, and start to work with your dreamiest clients and customers ever!
What is an ideal client?
An ideal client is a person or business whose exact needs are met through your product or service. It’s also someone you WANT to work with based on your long-term business goals.
Why do I need an ideal client?
If you don’t know WHO you’re speaking to, how can you write your website copy, social media posts, advertisements and emails to anyone but the masses? When you know who you want to work with, you can start to attract them specifically.
