Blissful Design Studio is an interior design company that is all about creating spaces where life can be enjoyed. Through e-design, home staging, and styling Brittany and her team are helping people have homes they can be proud of. Working with Brittany, the owner of Blissful Design Studio, was a blast! As a fellow creative, Brittany has a great eye for design and a beautiful vision for how she wanted her brand to be transformed. The design goal for the brand and website was to be super chic, but still welcoming and warm with a little bit of a rustic vibe. We also wanted to focus on the huge problems they solves for their ideal customers. Realtors need the empty houses they are selling to feel like homes to potentials buyers so they can sell homes quickly and for a higher profit. Design clients need a home they can feel proud of and that fits into their busy lives. Through the website words and design, we communicated these problem-solutions well to viewers!

Perhaps my favorite part of the Blissful brand is the focus on words ending in “ful”.  After hearing Brittany speak with such passion about the problems her team is solving for clients, it brought us to realize that fullness in life is what they are providing. Without going into all the details, this idea hit me while looking back at my ideas for words of the year in my PowerSheets. I had written down SO many beautiful words that end in “ful” - peaceful, beautiful, masterful, cheerful, joyful… the list goes on.  What I told Brittany is that SHE fights the overwhelm people feel about their home, and allows for fullness.

On the website, you’ll see that when you hover over the word “Blissful” in the navigation, you’ll see another word that describes the Blissful brand and also ends in “ful.”

The website also features a before and after section of rooms that Blissful Design Studio  has redesigned. This section has it all! We show with words a little detail about the project including the budget, and with images the intense transformation these rooms go through! Seriously, they take rooms from boring to knockout!

Here's what Brittany had to say about her branding and website designs...

Question: Were you surprised by any part of the project?

Brittany: Yes, by so many things - but in a really great way! This whole process has been really enlightening for me. I was able to really dig deep during the branding questionnaire to understand my company vision more and to hone in on who my ideal client is. This was invaluable to me during the rest of the design process because what I realized early on was that this was way more than just creating a beautiful logo and website, it was about finding the message of my company and then portraying that through my logo, colors and website.

I feel like Elizabeth was so insightful when it came to my business. She was able to take my answers and then dig even further. I wasn’t expecting someone to come alongside me in this process the way that she did. It was like having a business coach, copywriter and designer all-in-one. It was an absolute dream to work with her and I can’t recommend her enough!

The experience was AMAZING! Each and every step of the process was professional, but also personal and thoughtful. There were so many touches that I felt went above and beyond during the process. Elizabeth made working together so easy and fun. My design goals were accomplished and then some! I love everything about my brand and the website - it exceeds all of my expectations. It’s like she was able to take all of my ideas and create something that was more than what I wanted, but also what my brand needed.

Question: What’s your favorite part of your new branding?

Brittany: I can’t pick just one part - I love it all! But what I love the most is how the branding has captured the feeling that I wanted my company to convey. The colors, fonts and texture all work together to look polished, but also inviting and welcoming - which is exactly how I want Blissful Design Studio to be seen by potential clients.

I also really love the logo! Elizabeth had such a great idea to play off of the “ful” part of my business name and I love that we distinguished between the two parts of the word by making the font bolder for “Bliss”. The combination of the fonts is perfect! It’s both classic and modern at the same time, which makes this branding timeless.

Question: What’s your favorite part of your new website?

Brittany: I just love the feeling you get from the website when you see it. It feels so professional and pulled together, but it’s still fun and welcoming and creative. It’s exactly how I want my brand to be represented. It’s easy to navigate and it tells my potential clients exactly what I can do for them. Before, my website was pretty. Now it is beautiful, but it also paints a picture for those who are interested in my services. It shows them with words, as well as photos, how we can help them.

I am totally obsessed with the hover feature at the top of the website. The play on “ful” when you hover over Blissful is so much more than than just an amazing design. It really highlights the words and the feelings that we want to use to describe the spaces we design and feelings we want our clients to have once their space is complete. I would have never thought of something like this and the fact that Elizabeth thought of this concept and brought it to life on the site is just one way that she made this experience so awesome!

Question: How do you think this updated brand and website will impact your business?

Brittany: Oh my goodness, yes! I believe this is the step that I needed to take in order to attract not only more clients, but the ideal client. And I truly feel that this process has helped me to gain a new understanding of who my client is, the type of experience I want to offer and it’s given me the confidence that I needed to take the business in the direction it has needed to go for a long time.
