I had the absolute privilege of redesigning Amber Housley's website, and I ADORE the final result. Amber is an incredibly talented business coach and marketing strategist. She's smart, she's savvy, and she's such a fun friend! Amber and I met at the Business Boutique conference in November 2017 where we were both in attendance. The following year, I joined Amber's Inspired Coterie mastermind and attended her Inspired Retreat event for the first time. Both were AMAZING decisions for me and my business. I have learned (and continue to learn) so much from Amber.
During my time in her mastermind, we started to chat about her wanting a complete website makeover, and we booked the project! Amber felt her old website was a disjointed experience for users, and she wanted something cohesive for her brand. Amber was a WordPress user, turned Squarespace user, and now with me, she's on Showit!
It's so fun doing design work for people who I know well both personally and professionally. Because of my friendship with Amber and my time spent learning from her, I was able to cast the right vision for this website redesign. I know her audience and offers well. This was a tremendous help in the design process!
The end result is a new website that is feminine, bright, and happy. We wanted it to feel like you're in Draper James or Kate Spade for the vibe! It's casual yet sophisticated and full of Amber's beautiful personality. My favorite page of the whole website is probably the Inspired Coterie Mastermind sales page. As someone who had been in the mastermind previously designing this page made me want to jump in all over again! 😉 Seriously, be sure to check that page out as you explore the site! I also adore the blog design. Amber was coming to the redesign with tons of blog content and an amazing podcast. What is your favorite part of your new website?
"Seeing Elizabeth bring the Amber Housley brand vision to life in web form was a delight! Elizabeth has an innovative vision for how to incorporate the various elements and qualities of my brand and I was surprised and delighted around every turn. I love how much it very much feels like me. Where previous websites felt like business cards, this one now truly encompasses my personality, nuances and will undoubtedly connect well with my target audience. The multi-media elements and video clips are especially fun in bringing the brand to life!"
How do you think this updated look will impact your business?
"I believe my updated website will elevate my brand even further, and continue to build trust and credibility within my industry. I'm excited about the opportunity to reach and serve more women entrepreneurs (my customer base) with it, knowing that my 'digital online front porch' is welcoming and a home of many resources that are helpful for their business goals."
Did we successfully accomplish your design goals?
"Yes (and then some!). I truly appreciated how this experience was an 'all-inclusive' experience and working with Elizabeth was so very collaborative in our partnership. Working side-by-side, with me communicating the vision and goals, and then Elizabeth bringing the strategy to life (always with a bit more extra than I envisioned) was a great success story."
